Mrs Wormwood uses her Sonic disruptor.
A sonic disruptor stunned opponents, among other powers. Mrs Wormwood had one in the form of a ring which she used to combat her fellow Bane and put Gita Chandra in a trance. It only stunned the Bane. She complained that after Mr Smith put her in a containment vortex that this drained the ring's power. When working at full capacity the ring could create a discharge so powerful it could literally blow an adult Bane to pieces. Mrs Wormwood appeared to be able to use the device to target certain people as she managed to attack her fellow Bane without harming any humans in the vicinity or herself for that matter. The ring was lost in the portal to Horaths dimension and its discharge allowed the opening to close sealing Mrs Wormwood and Kaagh in that universe forever. (SJA: Enemy of the Bane)

A sonic disruptor.

A sonic disruptor is a type of directed-energy weapon that uses disruptor technology with a medium of intense sound to achieve blast effects. This results in no visible beam being emitted by the weapon. Pistol variants of this type were fielded by the security forces of Eminiar VII in the 2260s. (TOS episode: "A Taste of Armageddon")

As disruptors, they are very basic in design, lacking the transtator technology that would allow them to be used as phase disruptors. This difference was exploited by the Klingons in the early 23rd century, who kept the powerful transtator-based disruptors for themselves, but manufactured and sold the cheaper sonic-based weapons to lesser powers, aided by the fact that many universal translators simply rendered the word "disruptor" when deals were made, regardless of the operating mode of the weapon in question. (TOS novel: The Final Reflection)

Starfleet had begun to use sonic disruptors by the 2370s. (DS9 novel: Station Rage)

Old Republic era

A Sonic disruptor was a disruptor rifle used in the years following the Great Sith War. One of the most violent sonic weapons on the market, the sonic disruptor was outlawed by the Galactic Republic, even for use against the Sith. The sonic disruptor not only dealt devastating sonic damage to a target, it also atomized anything it harmed, leaving few traces of a victim behind. Personal defenses such as energy shields were no match for the sonic and disruptor properties of this weapon.
