Trouble with the audio sample?

Somnus has been revealed to be the main theme for Final Fantasy Versus XIII. It was included on the album Drammatica by Yoko Shimomura, the composer for the Kingdom Hearts series and Legend of Mana. The song opens with a piano playing a rather sad melody, followed by a female vocal part, sung in Latin much like other famous songs from the Final Fantasy series.

Latin Lyrics

Tellus dormit
et liberi in diem faciunt
numquam extinguunt
ne expergisci possint

Omnia dividit
tragoedia coram
amandum quae

Et nocte perpetua
ehem vels vera visione
par oram videbo te
mane tempus expergiscendi

English Translation (Free)[1]

The land sleeps
as do the children daily
n'er do they expire
so that they may never awaken.

All does tragedy
Presently divide
All does it send away

And within this night perpetual
Lo! Or within the true vision
Next to me I shall see thee
In the morning, the time of awakening

Somnus is the Latin word for "sleep", and the personification of sleep, (also as Hypnos) a possible reference to the game logo, which is an image of a sleeping young man.
