Slayer level is the player's Slayer skill level required to be able to kill a Slayer assignment monster. It is a parameter in Template:Infobox Monster. For Slayer monsters, it is the level required to kill it. Example: Crawling Hand which requires Slayer level 5.

A Slayer level = "1" means the monster is not a Slayer monster, but can be a slayer assignment. All monsters have a minimum Slayer level of 1. Example: Blue dragon. A Slayer level = "No" means the monster cannot be a slayer assignment. Example: Duck.

To raise the slayer level kill the creature the Slayer Master assigned to you.For more information go to Slayer.

Using different Slayer Masters (dependant on your Combat and Slayer levels) will give you different types of monsters to fight. Although the required Combat level may be level 40, it is recommended that you do not get an assignment from this Slayer Master until you have reached a higher Combat level as some Slayer assignments can be monsters with a combat level much higher that your own.
