The Sith lightsaber[1] was a specialized form of the lightsaber and an ancient Sith artifact. The resting place of the lightsaber was once within Naga Sadow's tomb, where final Star Map also lay dormant for some time. Revan, attending the Sith Academy on Korriban as a ploy to reach the map, was tasked to retrieve this lightsaber by Uthar Wynn as a right of passage into the ranks of the Sith.
The Sith lightsaber's hilt was intricite in design, covered decoratively in runes and encarvings. It can be assumed that the lightsaber was made for ceremonial use. Still, the blade itself had shown no difference from an ordinary lightsaber. Unlike any other lightsabers you can find in KOTOR the Sith lightsaber is non-adaptable. Its hum when turned on was different from ordinary lightsabers
