A detailed image of Sir Prysin.

Sir Ehntor Prysin is one of King Roald's knights and his grandfather was Waldo, the author of The Tales of Wally. He is located in the west part of Varrock castle, on the ground floor. He is the great grandson of Wally who defeated Delrith 150 years ago, and, as such, is the custodian of Silverlight. To reduce the risk of Silverlight falling into the wrong hands he gave a key to wizard Traiborn, Captain Rovin and kept a key for himself, though he dropped it in the drain and lost it in the Varrock Sewers. If players loses Silverlight after the quest, he will return it for a fee of 500 gold, stating the importance of the sword.

During the quest Demon Slayer, it is revealed by Captain Rovin that Sir Prysin got his very own luxurious room in the palace as well a knighthood only because his great-grandfather, Wally, defeated the demon. Captain Rovin also shows great dislike towards him, and when asked by the player to hand over one of the Silverlight case keys, he rudely snaps at the player, telling him/her that he reports directly to the king and not ' that ill-bred moron '. He also states that he only got the key because the king ordered Sir Prysin to hand one over to him.

Trivia

  • Sir Prysin's name is a play on the word "Surprising". His full name, as noted in the Varrock census is Ehntor Prysin which is, in turn, a play on the word "Enterprising". His first name (with title) may also be a play on the word "Surrender".
  • Unlike many other NPCs in RuneScape, Sir Prysin actually wears the traditional medieval armory.
  • Sir Prysin's armour has larger shoulder pads than ordinary Player Characters.
  • Strange as it is, if you use nearly any item on Sir Prysin, you will say "I've got one of the keys!" and Sir Prysin will respond, "Well done! Why don't you keep ahold of it until you've got all three? Then I'll get Silverlight for you."
  • Sir Prysin used to wear a helmet previous to the update on 15 December 2009. His helmet now lies on his desk.
  • When Sir Prysin's appearance was updated, his old image (him wearing a helmet) does not change during the Defender of Varrock zombie invasion. This has yet to be fixed, as of 2/5/10
