Runescape

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

A Sign is a small physical boundary found in various places around RuneScape. Most of them tell players directions to widely known places and cites, such as Varrock. To read a sign, one must click on it. This will bring up a screen of directions. Many signs are found in populated areas with new players, such as Lumbridge and Draynor Village.

Signs in the Wilderness will read, "Stop examining signs! You're in the Wilderness now!"

Signs can also be found hanging outside of bars, accompanied with a picture of the bar. For example, the Rising Sun Inn has a sign with a picture of a rising sun on it.

There are also signs in places such as Varrock Castle and Ardougne Marketplace, telling certain factoids such as how many cakes have been stolen that day.

Trivia

  • Before an update, signs could not be read. They just gave directions when examined.
  • Signs in the Wilderness have pointed stakes and skulls on them.
