Captain Seth Norris was the pilot of Oceanic Flight 815 found in the cockpit by Jack, Kate, and Charlie.
Contents |
Little is known about Seth's life before Flight 815. Most of the information we have comes from Frank Lapidus's accounts. For an unknown reason, Seth replaced Frank as the pilot of Flight 815. ("Confirmed Dead")
Seth married his childhood sweetheart at nineteen years of age, and always wore their wedding ring. His official Oceanic Airlines photo shows that he once had a mustache. ("Confirmed Dead")
Seth was unconscious when he was found in the cockpit of Flight 815, but woke up when Kate leaned over him. Jack gave him water, and Seth said he was dizzy. He was bleeding from his nose and right ear, and his right eye was bruised and swollen shut. He asked how many survivors there were, to which Jack replied there were forty-eight. He became concerned when Jack said that it had been 16 hours since the crash and nobody had come yet. He recounted the plight of Flight 815:

He then showed Jack and Kate where the transceiver was, and crawled out of the front cockpit windows to look around after the same noise from the night before occurred again. Sounds of the Monster approached, and the pilot was ripped upward from the cockpit through a windshield, kicking and screaming. The fuselage shook, then fell flat on its belly. Moments later, blood splashed across the front of the plane. Shortly thereafter Kate and Charlie found the pilot, dead, mangled in a tree. ("Pilot, Part 1")
Charlie later dedicated a song to him while composing an album about the Island, called "Monster Eats the Pilot," and sang it to Claire. ("Born to Run")
Off the Island, Frank Lapidus saw a newscast showing the supposed body of Seth in the underwater cockpit. Frank knew Seth personally and strongly believed that that was not Seth's body, since Seth always wore his wedding ring, while the corpse's hand had no rings. ("Confirmed Dead")
The pilot episode revealed that Seth was wearing a ring at the time of the crash. ("Pilot, Part 1")
Seth Norris was the pilot of Flight 815 in the flash-sideways timeline, announcing that the plane was about to land in Los Angeles ("LA X, Parts 1 & 2").

Within the last twenty years, Seth had rats gnaw on Yggdrasil. One of his servants guarding the rats, defeated by Balder and Sif, turned to ashes.
Seth possesses various superhuman abilities, some of which are common to all of the Gods Of Heliopolis.
Superhuman Strength: Seth is among the physical strongest of all of the Egyptian Gods and was capable of lifting about 70 tons. However, since the loss of his right hand, he cannot lift or throw tremendous amounts of weight.
Superhuman Speed: Seth is capable of running or moving at speeds much faster than that of even the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Stamina: Seth's muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins than the muscles of human beings, even less than most other members of his race. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several days before fatigue begins to impair him.
Superhuman Durability: Seth's body is highly resistant to physical injury. He is capable of withstanding great impact forces, temperature and pressure extremes, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury.
Regenerative Healing Factor: If injured, Seth is capable of healing with superhuman levels of speed and efficiency. However, Seth is unable to regenerate missing limbs or organs.
Immortality: Like all other members of his race, Seth has not aged since reaching adulthood and is immune to the affects of aging. He is also immune to all known Earthly diseases and infections.
Energy Manipulation: Seth is capable of manipulating hellfire, much in the same way as Ghost Rider. Seth's favorite tactic is to burn an individual with the "Mark of Seth". The mark signifies that if Seth and the marked one meets again, one of them is fated to die. Seth is also capable of channeling highly destructive beams of force from his eyes, which is one of his preferred tactics since the loss of his right hand. Seth can also channel the energies of his body to cause an individual to die with a single touch. When he desires to, Seth is capable of teleporting himself across great distances or between dimensions.
Shapeshifting: Seth does possess at least some ability to change his physical form. It is known that he is capable of transforming himself into a gigantic serpent.
Abilities: Seth is a good hand to hand combatant. However, he is much more adept at using his energy powers in combat situations since the loss of his hand. He also possesses considerable knowledge of magic and arcane lore.

Death Watch Commander Seth or simply Seth was a Mandalorian warrior that became a Death Watch Commander that led his men against the True Mandalorians. He fought in several battles and would fight against Savin Kuflin shortly after he led a group of Jedi to the True Mandalorians, where Savin's brother would die.
Sid is a mean, aggressive pre-teen who spends his time torturing small animals. Seth is his lanky little yes-man who hides behind his buddy's bulk when shouting insults. They love to bully total nerds, so living in Science City must be like Christmas for them. Of the two, Sid is clearly the more dominant, pushing Seth around nearly as much as he does his actual targets.
They attend the same school as the crass-yet-good-natured Billy and Fred, their dopplegangers.
While Sid was occupied trying to kill squirrels with his Dennis the Menace-style slingshot, Seth noticed their arch enemies, nerds, trying to have a good time. As Rad, Carlos and Alexis took off in their spectacular splendiferous balloon-mobile, Sid and Seth saw it as the perfect opportunity to send those three poindexters to an early grave. Using his slingshot, Sid popped the balloons keeping the contraption afloat. As the nerdlingers (well, actually just a dummy) plummeted to their deaths, Sid made a mean-spirited quip as Seth encouraged him to make a break for it, lest the law catch onto their gruesome shenanigans.
Little did they know, their homicidal plot didn't actually kill the paste-eating dorks, but helped them to become best friends with a team of awesome super powered robots from outer space. Take that, you little sociopaths! Dreamwave Armada issue 3
