Sephira is a boss from Final Fantasy XII. Appears alongside Vayne Novus, these magical swords assist the boss. Unlike the Rooks fought along with Dr. Cid, Sephira only attack the player, while having a chance of Immobilizing the character. There are only 5 Sephira in the battle, while in the pre-battle cutscenes, there are as many as eight. They are also part of the cinematic display of Vayne Novus' attacks.

Etymology
"Sephira" is the singular form of Sephirot, the ten attributes of God in the Jewish Kabbalah. Sephiroth, the central villain from Final Fantasy VII is also a reference to the Sephirot.
