Military scrip, also called simply scrip, was currency issued to members of the Imperial Military. It was an accepted medium of exchange throughout the Galactic Empire, and there were harsh punishments for not accepting Imperial currency, whether or not the credit was considered a good risk. It was interchangeable with credits for a small fee.
