The Santa Fe-class was a type of starship used by the Federation Starfleet in the 24th century. The Santa Fe-class was a light frigate design that, by the turn of the 2270s decade, had been phased out of production with a refit version, the Newport-class, taking its place. This class presumably included a prototype ship that would be named USS Santa Fe, although no such ship was mentioned.
