Saavik in the mirror universe was a member of Imperial Starfleet and became new-Emperor Spock's protege and student after he sponsored her application to Starfleet. With his help, her career advanced to the point she became Captain of the ISS Enterprise. She also did all she could to help Spock's master plan of destroying the Klingon and Cardassian species by using the entire Vulcan population as sleeper agents, who when activated, would lead a massive uprising against their impending Alliance.

In 2294, Saavik, still captain of the Enterprise, attended a secret meeting on Vulcan; the purpose of the meeting was to recruit younger Vulcans into the sleeper agent project. Her arguments in particular led to some Vulcans agreeing to participate, including Tuvok. (VOY novel: The Mirror-Scaled Serpent)

When the Alliance formed and began conquering the Terran Empire, Spock asked her to retire from Starfleet and return to Vulcan in preperation for the invasion. Saavik reluctantly agreed. Saavik's last known appearence was when she successfully became a domestic serveant in the Cardassian Union and remained undercover for the Vulcan Resistance for many years. (TOS novel: Glass Empires)

Alternate continuity

In a mirror universe where Spock did not kill James T. Kirk, Spock and Saavik had a child, T'Val. (TOS novel: Spectre)

In the mirror universe, Saavik was a Vulcan female who served in the Terran Imperial Starfleet in the late 23rd century.

By 2277, Ensign Saavik had been assigned to the ISS Enterprise, under the command of Admiral Spock, as alpha shift flight controller after graduating from Starfleet Academy. Shortly after she formed part of the landing party, alongside Lieutenants' Xon, Solok and Stang, that accompanied Admiral Spock and Commander Willard Decker to the surface of Deneva for a Starfleet Command meeting.

Unfortunately, this was a set-up by Grand Admiral Matthew Decker to assassinate Spock. Fortunately, Spock and his Vulcan cohorts were aware of the ambush and were able to subdue their would-be assassins. Realizing Willard Decker's part in the deception, Saavik and her fellow Vulcan's stabbed Decker on Spock's order.

Shortly after Spock's successful assassination of Matt Decker and rise to Grand Admiral of the Imperial Starfleet, Empress Hoshi Sato III ordered the Enterprise to proceed to Earth so she could officially endorse his promotion. Sensing that this was merely a prelude to his assassination, Spock took Saavik in his confidence and told her about the Tantalus field device that had helped him in his rise to prominence. Although he was taking a risk, Spock told Saavik to use the device to kill Empress Sato and her Imperial guards should they make a move against him. (TOS novel: The Sorrows of Empire; Star Trek: Daedalus)

Divergence

In the The Sorrows of Empire continuity, Saavik did as Spock had instructed and used the Tantalus field to kill Sato and her guards, allowing Spock to rise to become Emperor of the Terran Empire.

In the Star Trek: Daedalus alternate mirror universe continuity, Saavik found that she couldn't support Spock's illogical mission to stage a coup and used the Tantalus field to kill Spock. Unbeknown to Saavik, Spock's wife, Marlena Moreau, was watching from the shadows and shot Saavik dead with her phaser though her intervention was to late to save her husband. ("A Burning House")
