The Hell's Rider is a enemy in the game Final Fantasy VI. Locke can steal a valuable Mythril Vest from it. However, the Rider counters this steal with Silver Lance, a massive physical attack. Every four turns, it can use Venomist, which can Poison the entire party. It also counters physical attacks with Reverse Polarity, which switches the target's row. The best way to deal with it is to have Gau use the Mu Rage and hope Snare kicks in. Another method is to have Cyan use Tiger on it to halve its HP and give it Sap.

Note that the Rider can be avoided simply by not touching it.

The Rider is one of the few non-randomly encountered enemies to appear on the Veldt and have a Rage.
