Rick was first seen in March 2008 as a new boyfriend of Becky Granger. He had a secret he did not tell her - that he had a girlfriend and daughter. When Becky found this out from Jason Grimshaw, she attacked Rick and he has not been seen since.
Rick stars in the Sesame Street "Great Movie Classics" presentation of Casablanca, spoofing Humphrey Bogart's Rick Blaine.
One evening, while in his cafe', Rick hears pianist Sam reciting the alphabet while playing the piano against his wishes. He is very displeased until he finds that Sam is playing it for his old girlfriend, Ilsa, who he did not know was in town. All of a sudden, a change comes over Rick. He fondly remembers the time she had told him the alphabet in Paris and asks Sam to say it again. This continues on into the night.

Rick is a guard near the entrance of the Heights district in the Hub, hired by Daren Hightower to protect him and his wife. Rick will give you information about Mr. Hightower and whatever else you'd like to ask about.
Rick appears only in Fallout.
Rick (リックス, Rikkusu) is a character in the On the Way to a Smile novella "Case of Denzel".
More than a year after Midgar is destroyed, the survivors living in the rubble slowly leave to go to Edge, and only Rick and Denzel remain living in Midgar. When the two realize that they're out of money and can't afford to trade supplies for food with the Edge residents anymore, Rick suggests they move to Edge for free food. Denzel replies that they'll catch and eat rats "like real slum kids"; Rick tells Denzel that he used to live in the slums, and the rats are inedible due to the pollution from the plate where Denzel lived. Rick leaves for Edge afterwards.
Denzel tells Reeve Tuesti that Rick is still alive and living in Edge shortly after recounting this part of his story, but claims the two of them haven't spoken to each other in some time.
Rick is a shortened form of Richard, roughly meaning "powerful leader". It should be noted that both Zack's and Rick's names are irregular in that the Japanese pronunciations differ from the English spelling, being pronounced (and sometimes translated) as "Zax" and "Rix". This may be a common trait for names ending with "ck" within the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII.

Rick is an amateur duelist with an interest in Dragon cards.
Rick was first seen at the very beginning of the KC Grand Championship. He engaged in a Duel against KC DuelTek 760, but due to a mysterious hacker (whom later turned out to be Zigfried von Schroeder) he unwillingly had to face KC DuelTek 760 on its highest and most dangerous level. Luckily Yugi, who was close by, jumped in and took over the duel and eventually won due to combining the effect of Rick's Spirit Ryu and Heart of the Underdog, a card he gave to Rick shortly before the Duel.
Rick's deck mostly consists on monster cards and lacks a good balance of magic, trap and monster cards. Rick's only two magic cards are "Dragon Treasure" and "Heart of the Underdog".
