Reputation points measure a character's standing with the four allied groups in the Eye of the North storyline, the Norn, Deldrimor, Asura, and Ebon Vanguard.

Promotion points measure a character's rank with the two allied groups in the Nightfall campaign, the Order of the Sunspears and the Order of Whispers.

Reputation and promotion points can be earned through bounties, by completing quests for each group, by vanquishing, and by turning in books. They count towards their respective, character-based reputation titles.
