From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

Rebreathers were an upgrade of the standard breath mask that was popular in the years during and after the Jedi Civil War. They were equipment, usually facemasks, that let a species breathe in an atmosphere not suited to their physique. Clone trooper and stormtrooper armor contained rebreathers. A99 aquata breathers were one type of rebreathers. Bacta tanks used another type of rebreather known as a breather line. It had the ability to regulate the oxygen supply of whomever wore it; however, the mask had the drawback of being ill-suited for use by Wookiees.

Rebreather by JB

There are two kinds of rebreathers. The ordinary looted, wearable rebreather lets you pass through certain places while taking no damage (Such as the geo caves).

Using an Alum Gel Pack which can be looted in Deathwatch bunker on Endor , a trader can create an advanced rebreather which stops damage being inflicted via gas in the mines under the deathwatch bunker.

This is needed to proceed further into the bunker.
