Reaction Abilities in Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions are learned via Job Points. Each character can only equip one reaction ability. Reaction abilities only activate when their trigger condition is met. They usually provide buffs once activated.

Auto-Potion Use lowest available potion when attacked. Attacked by another unit. 400 Chemist
Parry Parry attacks with equipped weapon. Attacked by another unit. 200 Knight
Adrenaline Rush Raise Speed. Attacked by another unit. 800 Archer
Archer's Bane Evade bow/crossbow attack. Attacked by another unit's arrows. 450 Archer
Regenerate Receive Regen when attacked. Attacked by another unit's arrows. 400 White Mage
Magick Counter When attacked by magic, counter with same. Attacked by another unit's magic. 800 Black Mage
Critical: Recover HP Restore HP when terminal. Unit in critical condition. 800 Monk
Counter Counter with physical attack. Attacked by another unit. 300 Monk
First Strike Attack before being attacked. Attacked by another unit. 1200 Monk
Vigilance Take defensive position. Attacked by another unit. 200 Thief
Gil Snapper Receive gil in the amount of damage you received. Attacked by another unit. 200 Thief
Sticky Fingers Catch thrown item and keep it. Attacked by another unit's throwing item. 200 Thief
Absorb MP Restore your MP by the same amount your enemy used. Spell cast by enemy. 250 Mystic
Critical: Quick When HP level is lessened, your AT is executed next. Unit in critical condition. 700 Time Mage
Mana Shield Physical damage is converted into magic damage. MP is lost instead of HP. Attacked by another unit. 400 Time Mage
Nature's Wrath Counter with geomancy. Attacked by another unit. 300 Geomancer
Dragonheart Protection from death. Attacked by another unit. 560 Dragoon
Earplug Evade Speechcraft attacks. Attacked by Speechcraft Skills. 300 Orator
Critical: Recover MP Restore MP when terminal. Unit in critical condition. 400 Summoner
Bonecrusher When terminal, give damage in the amount of your max HP. Unit in critical condition. 200 Samurai
Shirahadori Evade physical attack. Attacked by another unit's weapon, other than arrows and bolts. 700 Samurai
Vanish Hide by become invisible. Attacked by another unit. 900 Ninja
Reflexes Evade % rises and it becomes easier to dodge attacks. Attacked by another unit. 400 Ninja
Cup of Life When HP is maxed, excess HP is shared with party. When unit is healed and there is overflow. 200 Arithmetician
Soulbind Shift damage received from yourself to your enemy. Attacked by another unit. 450 Arithmetician
Fury Raise physical attack power. Attacked by another unit. 550 Dancer
Bravery Boost Raise Bravery. Physically attacking. 500 Dancer
Magick Boost Raise Magic attack power. Attacked by another unit. 450 Bard
Faith Boost Raise Faith. Any magical effect. 500 Bard
