Raze was the head of a multi-species information brokering organization.
Intelligent even for his species, he was capable of sorting data at superhuman speeds; Raze was an intimidating figure with his multi-segmented, centipedal cybernetic body, which included a pair of heavy blasters on a scorpion-like tail. For unknown reasons, he had an implant in his skull and down his spine that allowed his brain to be seen. It may have had to do with his mental control of the cybernetic portion of his body.
Based out of the Per Lupelo system, his organization relied on taps into various lines of communication along with an army of spies and information gatherers throughout the galaxy. Raze's top lieutenants within the organization were Wyl Tarson, Drybal, a Zabrak and a Ubese.
When Raze attempted to hijack an Imperial cargo convoy, they were beaten to the punch by the Rebellion, acting on information leaked by double agent Tarson. Later, when Tarson attempted to intercept a message in the system for Luke Skywalker from Janek Sunber, he was discovered by Raze, who implanted a bomb and comm unit in his skull and sent him on a mission to Ahakista.

This character has no official visual representation whatsoever — yet, at least.
No other name could better describe Raze — he glories in destruction and chaos, and lives for the feel of the ground shaking beneath his mighty piledriver arms. He is a braggart with little regard for the sanctity of human life. How his jukebox alt-mode serves to further his mission of mayhem is unknown.
Raze was among the Decepticons stationed on Earth. He participated in an assault on Dinobot Island, and skirmished with Snarl and Paddles after his fellow Decepticons were driven off. Raze managed to cripple Paddles, but was critically damaged by Snarl. Both Paddles and Raze sunk into the sand, where they lay for over twenty-seven years.
Eventually, Raze was excavated by Randall and Ed, a pair of paleontology students who mistook him for a harmless (if oversized) jukebox. After Ed unknowingly reactivated him, Raze transformed to robot mode and went on a rampage, destroying the students' encampment. As his piledriver arms knocked Randall and Ed into a crevice, the newly-unearthed Paddles attacked the Decepticon with his flame breath. Enraged, Raze tore up the ground with his piledrivers, sending both Paddles and himself plunging into a chasm. While Paddles survived to be trapped once more, Raze was killed by the fall. Paddles
