Appearances

Final Fantasy V

Quick is learned by the Time Mage. It allows the caster to take two additional turns, and can negate an enemy's action if it is cast at the right time. It can be bought in the Phantom Village for 10,000 gil.

Final Fantasy VI

Quick can be learned from Raiden and Gilgamesh, the latter of whom only appears in the Advance remake of the game. The spell can only be used on the caster, and gives them two turns right away, and stops all other party members and enemies from acting until they have taken their extra turns. By combining the spell with the Soul of Thamasa Relic, the equipped character can effectively cast five spells a turn, and by combining the spell with Genji Gloves and a Master's Scroll, it is possible to attack sixteen times in a turn, at the cost of 99 MP.

Final Fantasy X

Although not a spell, the skill Quick Hit, located in Tidus's section of the Sphere Grid, allow a character to attack with a short recovery period. The International/PAL Version also includes Quick Pockets in Rikku's section, allowing a character to use items with a short recovery time.

Final Fantasy X-2

Again, not a spell, but an ability learned in the Psychic Dressphere called Time Trip, which can be learned for 100 AP and after learning Teleportation. It costs 20 MP to use, and stops all time except for the user for 10 seconds, which allows the user to input any command she wants. The user, however, cannot change Dresspheres during the ability.

Final Fantasy Tactics

Quick is learned by Time Mages, and can be cast on any character. It sets the target's CT to 100, letting them take their turn immediately after the spell is cast. It costs 24 MP. It has a speed of 25 and costs 800 JP to learn.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

Quicken is learned by Time Mages, and can be cast on any character. It sets the target's CT to 100, letting them take their turn immediately after Quicken is cast. A similar move, Smile, is learned by the Juggler.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift

Quicken is learned by Time Mage and can be cast upon any character. The Juggler ability Smile also returns with the same effect, though now called Smile Toss.
