An Ice Hockey Wiki article.

The Québec Remparts are a major junior team of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League based in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The team was initially founded in 1969 and lasted until 1985, where they went formant for four seasons, before resurrecting as the Longueuil Collège Français.

The current team was revived in 1997, after a relocalization of the Beauport Harfangs. The Remparts, playing in the Colisée Pepsi, a former National Hockey League arena, are a success at the gates. They play in front of home crowds averaging 11,500 people[1]; it does happen that the team plays in front of a sold-out crowd (15,250), especially when their archrivals, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, are the visiting team, or during the playoffs.
