Interactions

He is inside a locked slave pen when you find him, and is wearing a Tattered Slave Outfit. He can be talked to if you rescue the slaves. You can either take his clothes (which results in a loss of karma) or ask him about dressing up as a slave. If asked about dressing, he will refer you to the Tattered Slave Outfit on a dead slave located on the mattress in the pen.

Notes

  • If you follow him, he and the 2 other slaves will try to head to the entrance of Vault 101. They will likely be killed if not escorted, although they can survive the journey at which point they will "live" at the entrance of Vault 101. If he makes it to Vault 101, there is a chance that Dogmeat's Puppy will spawn in his exact location, and Prosper will be running inside Dogmeat's Puppy.
  • His name is fairly ironic. Prosper vaguely means to have good fortune and a happy life. However this is not the case when the Lone Wanderer finds him.

Behind the scenes

  • If the player asks Prosper for the clothes off his own back the dialogue option reads, "Your clothes. Give them to me. Now." This is a reference to a recurring line in The Terminator movie series.

Appearances

Prosper appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on The Pitt.
