From The Vault

uses: Rock-It Launcher ammo
weight: 2
value: 0
base id: 0002541B

The Pot is an extremely rare Metal Cooking Pot, though extremely useless and can only be used as Rock-It Launcher ammunition, since it cannot even be sold. One can be picked up is on a table next to an Empty Whisky Bottle in Georgetown, just after exiting the connection to Foggy Bottom Station. Another can be found in the Arlington Library next to the fallen nuka-cola machine on the bottom floor, just before you fight the first raiders. If you have Point Lookout, one can be found north-north-east of Herzog Mine, near the wall of Ark & Dove Cathedral. Another can be found outside of Marguerite's Shack next to her shack wall holding up some shot glasses.

One useful property of this item is that it is one of the few hollow things in the game that can be picked up, making it great for filling up with fancy things in your house. Soda bottles, ammo, or anything else small enough to fit inside makes an interesting decoration for your floor or a table.

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

"Pot" redirects here. For other uses, see Pot (disambiguation).

An Empty pot is an item that can be used to hold a variety of liquids or powdery substances. It is one of the most common items in all of RuneScape, so players will often simply drop them and buy new ones when needed, as they are very inexpensive.

Players can find them on various counters and tables through RuneScape, including the ground-floor kitchen in Lumbridge Castle. They also respawn on the west edge of the Lumbridge Swamp and in Keldagrim.

Most general stores also have pots available for sale for 1 coin. In fact, an empty pot is the icon representing a general store on the RuneScape world map.

Players can also make a pot from soft clay with only level 1 Crafting, making it one of the easiest Crafting items to make, although it can break whilst in the pottery oven.

Pots are used in a few quests, though they cannot really be considered quest items.
