Lieutenant Saavik struggles against the throes of pon farr when she receives a reminder from Lieutenant Commander Uhura to report to the transporter room. After snapping at her superior officer, Saavik leaves as the Enterprise arrives at the Regula I space station.
Captain's Log: Stardate 8180.1. The Enterprise, on its way to rendezvous with the USS Grissom, has slowed to sublight speed to pick up a very important passenger: Dr. David Marcus, my son.
