Plants are a group of non-sentient organisms that also include trees, flowers and many other varieties seen across the galaxy. On many Class M planets, including Earth, plants contain chlorophyll which gives the plants stems and leaves a green color.
The study of plants is referred to as botany, and botanists have discovered differing varieties of plants (or parts of plants) that are edible, inedible, or poisonous. Among the edible parts of plants are herbs, vegetables, fruits, and seeds.

Plants are a type of species in both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, and are, as the species says, plant-like in appearance. All monsters of this species uses the signature attacks Seed Cannon and Seed Burst, and are typically weak to Fire-elemental attacks as well.
Plants in Guild Wars refers to a breed of plants that are not exactly rooted in their habitat. They can move and fight!
Like real plants they have reduced armor against slashing damage and fire damage. On top of that, weapon upgrades "of Pruning" (for example an Axe Grip of Pruning) increase the weapon's damage against all kinds of living plants. Nearly all Plants are fleshy creatures, which means that they are vulnerable to bleeding, disease and poison, and leave corpses. The only known non-fleshy plants are Reed Stalkers.
Hard mode levels are in brackets.
For a list of all plants in the game see: Category:Plants.
The Island is home to a wide variety of plants. They have figured directly into the storyline of Lost on several occasions.

Plants were a major group of life forms, found on countless worlds across the galaxy. In some worlds, such as Felucia, plants were the dominant life form. Trees were a form of plants. Sentient plants were not very common in the galaxy, with species like the Neti, the Ergesh, the Orgon, the Pliith and the Revwien being rare examples of plants to have developed sentience.
Plants were until Phantom of Darkness, a very unsupported type. The general strategy for Plant-Type monsters is to swarm the field using cards like Gigaplant's, Lonefire Blossom's and Lord Poison's. They can go hand-in-hand with Insect-Types as well with cards like Arcane Archer of the Forest and Prickle Fairy. The most usual Attribute associated with Plants is Earth but another Attribute getting increasingly assosiated with Plants is Fire.
Some of the more commonly used Plant-Type monsters include "Mystic Tomato", "Homunculus the Alchemic Being", "Dandylion", "Neo-Spacian Glow Moss", "Lonefire Blossom", "Gigaplant", "Lord Poison" and "Rigorous Reaver".
