Dr. Horace Pinkerton is a 60-year old[1] inhabitant of Rivet City, mysterious and elusive in the year 2277.

Background

Pinkerton is one of the founders of Rivet City but moved to the bow of the ship because of the annoyance that the people of the ship were giving him. He also performed facial reconstruction surgery and a mind wipe on Harkness, an android, to help him hide from the Commonwealth.

Pinkerton was born in the year 2217[2].

Interactions with the player character

Quest: Wasteland Survival Guide

Pinkerton will give information on the origins of Rivet City, to satisfy an optional part of The Wasteland Survival Guide for the history of the city.

Quest: The Replicated Man

Main article: The Replicated Man

Pinkerton will give information about the android and can perform facial reconstruction surgery on the Lone Wanderer, though he cannot alter race.

Pinkerton is an essential NPC only while The Replicated Man quest is active.
