The following were some of the pigs that appeared on The Muppet Show:
In addition, there were several unnamed pigs who appeared in a variety of sketches and musical numbers, including as dancers in At the Dance sketches. The first season of The Muppet Show featured six such generic pigs. More were added in later seasons. A live pig also appeared in episode 215.

Sesame Street has maintained its own set of pigs over the years. The series initially used a variation of the Hot Pink AM pattern (still retained for certain characters), and later introduced a group of four-legged, semi-realistic pigs, who could be used as farmyard oinkers or in speaking roles, as the need demanded.

The Patrol Investment Group, also known as the Patrol Invest Group or PIGS are a security firm featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. They mainly operate as a legitimate security force out of DBP Security, but are also involved in some illegal protection services. They patrol the North Point Mall area, Escobar International Airport, Leaf Links Country Club, and Starfish Island. Due to their North Point location, they are frequently in conflict with the Sharks; police act against both parties when gun battles occur.
The PIGs appear many times throughout the story of GTA Vice City. They provide protection for Congressman Alex Shrub and the band Love Fist, and have links to the Vice City Triads, providing protection for their illegal counterfeiting operation. At one point the PIGs attempt to move in on Tommy Vercetti's protection rackets in Ocean Beach; Tommy wipes out the guards involved, and destroys their office.
PIGs are not ordinarily hostile to Tommy, and will only attack in self-defense. They patrol Starfish Island, and may attack or be attacked by the Vercetti Gang if they enter the grounds of Tommy's mansion. They will also attack the player if they fire a weapon, weather it was aimed at them or not.

Pigs are non-interactive characters found in Draynor Village and the farm south of Falador. Pigs cannot be truly considered non-player characters, since players cannot interact with them in any way.
Players cannot attack or kill pigs, and thus they are not a source of food. Whilst there is a pig roasting on a fire in Rellekka, this is purely part of the scenery.
The Pigs in Draynor Village are in a pen owned by the G.A.G.
All pigs have received a slight graphical update as of September 2009.They are now more realistic-looking, yet their feet do not move while they walk, making it look as they are simply sliding.
