History

Peter the Puffer Fish was one of many types of fish swimming in the Atlantic that was loyal to the commands of the sea king Aquaman. Many years ago, Peter witnessed the coming of the alien conqueror Starro. He watched as Starro used his cosmic abilities to transform three innocent starfish into gigantic Starro spores, completely subservient to the alien’s commands. Peter warned Aquaman, who in turn informed his allies the Justice League of America.

Notes:

• Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985-86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
