A detailed image of a lump of pastry dough

Pastry dough or pastry is used to make pies. It is made from a pot of flour and water, and is then used on a pie dish to make a pie shell. The pie shell is then used with the filling, which varies according to which pie is to be made.

Pastry dough can also be made as a source of money. By buying or making one pot of flour, and one bucket of water or jug of water at the Grand Exchange, then mixing the ingredients together, selling the dough will give profit.

It should be kept in mind that players may not be able to buy pots of flour on the grand exchange and buckets or jugs of water because often they are not sold.

The table below calculates profit based on different sources of water. The calculations use real-time prices from the Grand Exchange Market Watch. For more information, see Grand Exchange Market Watch.
Type of Water Price of Pot of flour Price of Water Pastry dough Profit/Loss
Bucket of Water Coins  -114 Coins  -35 Coins  569 Coins  420
Jug of Water Coins  -114 Coins  -73 Coins  569 Coins  382
