Orana was a red-haired Amazon who challenged Princess Diana for the title of Wonder Woman. Diana initially protested, but Queen Hippolyta informed her that Orana had every right to call for a new tournament as per the laws laid down by the Gods themselves. She succeeded but was killed in her first mission, battling a terrorist called Warhead, after which Diana avenged her death. Orana was laid to rest on Paradise Island, and Diana reclaimed the mantle of Wonder Woman. Like all Amazons, Orana was trained in high levels of hand-to-hand combat. She also has expertise in a wide array of weapons. Also like her fellow Amazons, she possessed the ability to glide on air currents. While she was Wonder Woman, Orana possessed the Lasso of Truth.
