Operation Combination was a Japanese-exclusive series during Generation One.

The Operation Combination franchise ran throughout 1992. The franchise consisted of:

Story

The Operation Combination storyline began in February, 1992 and ended in November, 1992.

Operation Combination takes place after the Return of Convoy. Operation Combination focuses on several combiner warriors, both Autobot and Decepticon.

Führer Scrash, the new Decepticon leader , sends Battle Gaia and a troop of Decepticons to take Earth. The Autobots, headlined by Guard City defend the planet.

Operation Combination is a continuation of the animated series continuity. However, nothing of Operation Combination was ever actually animated. Instead, the stories were told exclusively through "story pages" in TV Magazine.
