Onyx was a longstanding fully capable member of the League of Assassins, who eventually decided to retire from her life of murder. When she left, she chose life in an Ashram Monastery (in the same order to which Green Arrow had once belonged to). The Ashram's Exalted Master was later killed by a renegade monk named "Lars," who intended to unravel the "Wisdom Key" that unlocked the powerful "Book of Ages." Onyx sought Green Arrow's help to defeat the villain. In the Ashram, Green Arrow and Onyx were defeated by Lars' minions, and the monk took the Wisdom Key from Onyx. Upon opening the Book of Ages, however, Lars was vaporized.
Later, Onyx appeared in Star City battling a villain named "Barricade." Barricade turned out to be Lars again, who had been revived by his underlings. The spell that had apparently killed him was reversed only as long as he remained in contact with the Book of Ages, but he was attempting to make the reversal permanent by possessing the Wisdom Key again. In a battle with Onyx, Green Arrow, and Black Canary, Barricade again met defeat, and was reduced to a heap of bones.
Following this incident, Onyx was not seen for several years. She briefly returned as part of Wonder Woman’s team of super-heroines to battle Circe's minions.
After that, Onyx returned to monastery life, but was called upon by the Batman to serve as a bodyguard for influential new Gotham City vigilante "Orpheus," and she worked alongside him until his death. As such, she was an incredibly influential figure during the "War Games" riots, and also clashed with the new Red Hood (Jason Todd) when he came to Gotham during the events of "Under the Hood."
After the events of Infinite Crisis, Onyx was not seen again until it was revealed she is currently working as one of Oracle's contacts for the Birds of Prey.[1] What the future holds for her is uncertain.
Onyx was most recently seen training with Cassandra Cain/Batgirl, in Blüdhaven during the events of Batgirl: Kicking Assassins.Expert Martial Artist: Onyx has fought in hand to hand with Cassandra Cain and managed to perform quite well.
Master Assassin: Onyx is schooled in all known assassin techniques such as pressure points, killing techniques and stealth to name a few. She has previously worked with and been taught by the League of Assassins.

Onyx, officially known by the UNSC as "XF-063", was a planet-sized, Forerunner construct located in the Zeta Doradus System. While it had a Human habitable surface and a seemingly terrestrial crust, internally, it was actually composed of trillions of Sentinels.[2] Onyx's ultimate purpose was to guard the entrance to a Shield World. It was the location of the massive, three-sided Battle of Onyx.

So named by the United Earth Government due to the unusually large onyx quarries found in the planet's crust, Onyx had an Oxygen-Nitrogen gas atmosphere, of suitable pressure for Human life with a temperate weather cycle. It also had an unusually large number of indigenous species of flora and fauna, some of which were edible by Humans and posed no threatening danger. The transplanting of Earth species was possible.
Some notable anomalies were that it had no detectable tectonic activity, an unusually strong planetary magnetic field, and slightly higher than normal background radiation. All of this may possibly be explained by the presence of large numbers of Sentinels beneath the planet's surface.
Onyx's surface was composed of seemingly infinite amounts of Sentinels, with a massive Forerunner city hidden under the terraformed ground layer. Under the surface, there was a vast network of underground tunnels and installations, including a map room and an immense Sentinel production facility under the northern polar region.
In the core of Onyx, there was a large room, the Core Room Antechamber. It contained a Slipspace rift that would be open for a short time after the Halo Array was put into standby mode, allowing evacuation to the Micro Dyson Sphere within.
In the center of Onyx resides a Slipspace bubble containing a massive Dyson Sphere habitat, which in normal space, is only some meters in diameter, and inside the Slipspace bubble, has a diameter of approximately 300 million kilometers. The megastructure has a habitable, terraformed surface and in the center, a G2-type star.[3]
Onyx was discovered by the UNSC Engineering Corps sometime around May, 2491. In ENGCORP Field Report A76344, Captain D. F. Lambert stated "XF-063 is a rare jewel of a find" and recommended colonization.
On February 19, 2492, in ENGCORP Field Report A79052 Lieutenant W. K. Davidson stated that Geological Expedition Four found an entire phylum of possible alien taxonomy and recommended a follow-up survey with specialists in Paleobiology, Xenobiology and Biochemistry.
In 2511, when archaeological expeditions uncovered massive subterranean Forerunner constructions in Zone 67, ONI immediately took control of the world, going so far as to remove Onyx from UNSC navigational databases and suspending any prospective colonization and Terraforming attempts. However, further attempts to determine the purpose of the structures, or even to extract any usable technology, yielded no results. In 2525, the operation was scaled down and only a minimum ONI garrison and a single AI remained. The planet's location remained secret. Regular scans continued to yield little of value.
With the onset of the Human-Covenant War, Vice Admiral Margaret O. Parangosky authorized the construction of the SPARTAN-III training base on Onyx in 2531 (there were three companies trained, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma). This base, designated Camp Currahee, was constructed perilously close to Zone 67, which had been declared strictly off limits. However, during a routine exercise north of Currahee, Beta Company Team X-ray trespassed into Zone 67, entered a Forerunner structure, and disappeared without trace. An ONI investigation into the matter was inconclusive, although X-Ray was rumored to have encountered a "glowing eye," which detonated upon discovery.
In 2552, Onyx's Sentinels were roused to action by the standby signal from Installation 05, instigating the Battle of Onyx and revealing Onyx's true nature. The AI Endless Summer took command of all military personnel on Onyx to immediately defend Zone 67 per General Order 98.93.120, after Onyx's Sentinels first started to attack the SPARTAN-III's. Endless Summer sent Kurt a flash transmission sending attached files directly into Kurt's retina. An explosion stopped Endless Summer's transmission before Kurt could finish scanning the new threat.
At the conclusion of the battle, Onyx was effectively destroyed, although not before Bloody Arrow was declared and Blue Team, Team Saber, Team Katana, Dr. Halsey, and SCPO Mendez escaped to the safety of the Shield World.

Onyx is a rare volcanic gem with a shiny black lustre which is used in the Crafting skill to make jewellery. There are only 2 ways to obtain an uncut onyx.
An uncut onyx requires a Crafting level of 67 to cut, granting 167.5 crafting experience. Though it is occasionally worth more uncut than cut, cutting the onyx in hopes of earning money is not advised because of the extremely low demand for onyx gems. It would cost approximately six billion to get 99 Crafting by cutting Onyx.
Members can also use the Fletching skill to cut an onyx into Onyx bolt tips by using a chisel on a 'cut' onyx at level 73 Fletching. Cutting an onyx into bolt tips grants the player 9 experience in the Fletching skill and gives the player 24 Onyx bolt tips, although this practice is NOT RECOMMENDED due to the value of the gem and the fact that TzHaar-Ket and TzHaar-Xil both drop Onyx bolt tips rather commonly.
The Personalised shops update on 2 September 2009 raised the price of an Onyx in the TzHaar shops ninefold, from 300,000 to 2,700,000 Tokkul. On the 15th of December 2009, Jagex made it impossible to get Tokkul by trading runes to the shop. This made it much harder to get Tokkul.
Onyx jewellery looks significantly different from jewellery using other gems.

Onyx was a Zygerrian slave trader and a captain of a slave vessel. During the Clone Wars, he encountered a group of Jedi consisting of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano who were searching for the missing people of Kiros. After they infiltrated his ship, Onyx captured Ahsoka and proposed to trade her for his men, captured by Skywalker and Kenobi. However, he was in fact trying to kill them by releasing a giant creature. But it was defeated and the Jedi infiltrated the ship, using the rear air dock opened by Ahsoka. Fearing for his life, he told them everything he knew about the slaves from Kiros. He was later secured in the Jedi's ship with the rest of his crew.
Onyx attribute monsters are the counterpart for Fire monsters. This means they can also be called Dark Fire attribute monsters. They work by BP(Burning Points)except for Underworld Necrodragon.More infromation coming soon
