Octaslash (Eight Blades in One Flash, 八刀一閃, Yatō Issen) is a Limit Break found in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. It is activated when Sephiroth's image appears in the Modulating Phase screen in all three reels. The Limit Break causes Zack to deal 8 hits to a single enemy. It is one of the first Limit Breaks found in the game. The player can increase the chances of activating Octaslash by equipping the appropiate Independent Materia.
Sephiroth will also use this attack when faced in the Nibelheim Reactor. Octaslash is also one of Sephiroth's HP attacks in Dissidia Final Fantasy.
In the revised confrontation between Cloud and Sephiroth in Advent Children Complete, after thwarting Cloud's attempt to use Omnislash, skewering him like he did at Mt. Nibel Reactor, and tossing him in the air, he proceeds to brutally assault Cloud with Octaslash.
