Oceanus is one of the Titans or original gods of Greece. Zeus overthrew the Titans to conguer Olympus and exiled them to Tartarus, but Oceanus and his brethern were released in recent years to help Thia in trying to conquer Olympus. His wife, Tethys, was reportedly killed in the melee.
