The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League is a Tier II Junior "A" ice hockey league. The league is sanctioned by the Northern Ontario Hockey Association and Hockey Canada and is a charter member of the Canadian Junior A Hockey League. The league's playoff champion earns the right to compete for the Dudley Hewitt Cup, and if victorious can compete for the Royal Bank Cup.
