Nora Estheim is a minor character and Hope's mother in Final Fantasy XIII. She is voiced by Komina Matsushita in the Japanese version.
Nora and Hope were involved in the Purge during their vacation, as Sanctum wanted to send any citizens "tainted" by Pulse to that world. They were among the group that was saved by Snow Villiers and Team Nora, with Nora among those volunteering to fight with Snow against PSICOM. However, during the battle, after saving Snow's life, Nora was mortally wounded from the explosion that destroyed the motorway. Although Snow caught her hand and attempted to lift them up to safety, Nora lost her grip and plummeted to her death, with Hope watching from afar. In her last moments, she asked Snow to watch over and protect Hope.
