Nokia is an Earth based telecommunications company headquartered in Finland. Founded in the 19th century as a paper products company, it eventually became known for its telecommunications products.

The company was still active in the 23rd century, when the step father of James T. Kirk outfitted his antique Corvette with a communications device made by Nokia. (TOS movie: Star Trek)
