Ninjaball is a variant of Oddball. On it, players have active camouflage, move faster, and have weaker shields that recharge faster. This makes for a more strategy oriented game of Oddball.
In Halo 3, Ninjaball is different in that the holder of the ball moves at about double speed, has less gravity, but has no Active Camouflage. Needless to say, it is much more important to avoid getting hit by the one with the ball.
