Museum Authority Building is a medium sized building in Washington, DC's Mall. It has only 1 interior section.

The Museum Authority looks like a fairly standard office building. The entrance is located on the eastern side of the building. Some radroaches and skeletons are usually found in front of it.

The interior features multiple floors and is protected by three Ghoul Guards. The top floor is divided into two large rooms, one with office cubicles and another with a large counter. There are also two bathrooms. A staircase at in the northwestern corner of the building connects to the lower floors. The intermediate level is partially collapsed and contains a few office desks as well as filing cabinets. On the lowest level, Griffon's bottling operation can be found, consisting of a few bath tubs, sinks and a closet with a lot of wigs in it. The audio tape consisting of Griffon's bottling operation is laying on a table in between bathtubs.

Notable loot

  • There is a Nuka Cola Quantum on a toilet in the women's restroom, just inside the building's entrance.
  • The cabinet in the basement is full of Wigs and pre-war clothing.
  • A large supply of Abraxo Cleaner in the basement.

  • The terminal also mentions the malfunctioning planetarium in the Museum of Technology and the radio transmitter in the Thomas Jefferson robot in the National Archives.

The Museum Authority Building appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on Broken Steel.
