American Greetings have released several sets of Muppet Christmas ornaments since 1993.

In 1993, the company issued three Muppet Christmas Ornaments. Two were figural representations of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy (with Foo-Foo). The third was a satin ball with Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal and Rowlf.

In 2006, as part of Kermit's 50th Anniversary celebration, five additional ornaments were released, three of which were mini-ornaments that came together in a set.

Five ornaments were released for Christmas 2007 -- Animal bursting through a drum set, Kermit holding a stack of gifts for others (Animal gets a drum, the Swedish Chef gets a frying pan, Bunsen gets a beaker, and Miss Piggy gets a boxed gift), Miss Piggy holding a different boxed gift, Fozzie holding a rubber chicken with his name on it, and Kermit and Miss Piggy framed together in a heart with a sound clip. While the Animal and framed Miss Piggy and Kermit ornament were available online and at Carlton Card stores, the Fozzie, Miss Piggy, and Kermit ornaments were available at merchants which carry a selection of Carlton Merchandise, such as K-Mart or Kohl's department stores.
