A level 11 Mourner
A level 108 Mourner

The Mourners are an organisation that work in West Ardougne. They are elves of the Prifddinas Death Guard in disguise, and are working with King Lathas. Since West Ardougne has been quarantined because of the "plague", Mourners started appearing. They don't mourn for the lost, but have other secret plans. They are also in fact against King Lathas and pretending to work with him. There are mourners coming outside the gates of Prifddinas, marching to the gates of Arandar.

Trivia

  • Level 108 Mourners can be killed to complete a slayer task of Elves, but not Level 11 Mourners.
  • The Mourners somewhat look and act like the Combine Civil Protection from the Half-Life series of video games.
  • The Mourner's suit seems to be based on the suits used by doctors during the outbreak of the Bubonic Plague in the 1400s. Instead of berries, the doctors used roses and herbs in the masks "beak".
