Moore was a human farmer who owned a small farm near Broken Bow, Oklahoma, on Earth in the mid-22nd century.

In April 2151, Moore became the first human to encounter a Klingon after a K'toch-class scout crashlanded on his land. The Klingon, named Klaang, destroyed one of Moore's corn silo's in order to escape from two pursuing Suliban. In response, Moore shot and seriously injured Klaang. (ENT episode: "Broken Bow").

The town of Moore.
The town of Moore in the World Map.

Moore (ムーア Mūa), or Mua in the fan translation, is a village in Final Fantasy V. Appearing in the Alien and Merged Worlds and surrounded by mountains, the only way to access it is through a Submarine in the alien world, but after the merging of the worlds, it can be accessed on foot.

In the Alien world, Moore is located west from the Great Forest of Moore where Enuo's powers were sealed, while in the Merged world, the Pyramid of Moore and the Desert of Shifting Sands take the place from the Great Forest. Moore was spared from the destruction brought by Exdeath when he summoned the Void.

Also, in the Merged world, the Brave Blade or Chicken Knife can be obtained in this town, by entering the house blocked in the Alien world.
