Monoceros is a genus the Beast Family introduced Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess. Little is known about these legendary creatures, as sightings are few and far between, and the last confirmed sightings were during the Crystal War.
There are only two Monoceros in Final Fantasy XI, both of which are Notorious Monsters and both of which can only be encountered when traveling back in time to the Crystal War era. They are weak against Earth, but move amazingly fast.
