Fletching can be a hard skill to obtain money with, however, the skill cape is what many seek when using these methods. So, by keeping this in mind, you can still earn a decent profit (just not as much as other skill-wise methods) while receiving massive amounts of experience!

Effectiveness Level requirement Details
***** Level 1 Cut trees and use a knife to make Arrow shafts that can be sold to players for 4 coins each, which is around 60 coins per log (one log can make 15 arrow shafts). As the Arrow shafts are stackable, they can be done without returning to the bank. Once you have a high enough level, start to make arrows. You can also buy stripy feathers and attach them to shafts, making a greater profit.
***** Level 32 Buy Kebbit spikes from the GE, which sell for 405 coins for each spike, and chisel them into 6 Kebbit bolts which sell for 82 coins each bolt (6 bolts are always made). Kebbit spikes are drops from deadfall trapping Prickly Kebbits (Hunter level 37), which are frequently used to train hunter on, so there should be a reasonable supply of them on the GE. Kebbit bolts are used only with a hunter's crossbow, which is a popular weapon due to cheap, effective bolts and firing speed, so there is a high demand for the produced bolts as well.
***** Level 35 Once a player has reached this level they can buy willow logs on GE for 9. You can make willow shortbows, which sell for 40 coins at the General Store.
***** Level 40 Once the player has reached this level they may buy Willow Logs for 9 coins, make willow longbow (u) and sell them on the Grand Exchange for a profit of 23 coins, or sell them to a general store for 32 coins generating 23 coins worth in profit per log that has been fletched.
***** Level 42

Buy Long kebbit spikes from the GE, which sell for 1,320 coins for each spike, and chisel them into 6 Long kebbit bolts which sell for 251 coins for each bolt (6 are always made).

NOTE: The profitability of this task is limited by buying spikes and selling bolts on the GE, both of which can be slow processes. If the buying and selling were faster, this task would be rated much higher.

*****

level 55

Once you've reached this level, you will be able to create maple longbows, which sell for 345,

you will need maple logs to make them, which you can buy for 34, maple longbows and maple logs are always avialable on the GE, making them a good way to make money (70-80k/hour + 60k exp/hour)

This is also considered the best way to train your fletching from 55-70. In order to do this you would have to use 9903 maple logs.

***** Level 58 Once a player has reached this level, buy as many cut emeralds as possible from the Grand Exchange at the market price. Use a chisel with the emeralds and make them into emerald bolt tips which sell for around 291 coins each (times 6). This is very time consuming but there are always emeralds selling in the Grand Exchange and emerald bolt heads are in a moderate demand. You can normally make around 110-200k per hour. You can also attach these to mithril bolts and gain even more XP with reduced profit. NOTE: You should have at least 150,000 to do this most efficiently.
***** Level 70 Yew longbows are in constant demand by players training Magic through the High Alchemy spell. Yew longbows can be sold for about 716 coins each, or High Alchemy can be cast on them to obtain 768 coins each. If the player has 60+ Woodcutting, 55+ Magic, 10+ Crafting, and 70+ Fletching, the player can woodcut yew logs, make bowstrings, fletch the yew longbows, and cast high alchemy on them and receive free experience in many skills and still make an earnest-sized amount of money.  Also, the player may buy yew logs from the Grand Exchange and craft them into yew longbow (u). Then, buy bowstrings and attach them with yew longbows and sell them back to the Grand Exchange to make a small but decent profit. You will get 99 fletching fast if you use a stealing creation knife. Fletching is an easy skill to master.
***** Level 85 Magic longbows are in fairly high demand for casting High Alchemy on in order to train Magic. Magic longbows can be sold for about 1,472 coins each, or High Alchemy can be cast on them to obtain 1,536 coins each. If the player has 75+ Woodcutting, 55+ Magic, 10+ Crafting, and 85+ Fletching, the player can woodcut magic logs, make bowstrings, make the magic longbows, and cast high alchemy on them and receive free XP in many skills and still strike a profit. You lose money this way though you lose 286,000gp every 1,000 magic longbows.
