Notes

  • Any attribute bonuses from runes or headgear are negated by this enchantment.
  • Weakness will reduce your elemental attributes to 11 if you had any attribute points assigned to them, but it will not affect attributes that had 0 attribute points assigned.
  • Consider using Prismatic insignia with this skill, as you will receive +20 armor while this enchantment is active.
  • Elemental Lord will still affect spells cast under the effects of Master of Magic. Glyph of Elemental Power will also affect these spells, but only if the glyph is cast after Master of Magic.
  • With this skill, you do not need to invest any points in any elemental attribute, thus allowing more flexibility on all four elemental attributes. Be careful of relying wholly on this skill for attributes, however, as enchantment removal or interruption could render your entire build useless.
  • Journey to the North will bypass the attribute change from this spell.
  • Heroes will use Master of Magic on their own, but only during battle. They may cast a spell or two at their normal attribute ranks before using this one. For this reason it makes sense to manually click Master of Magic, followed by a covering enchantment like Aura of Restoration, prior to engaging foes, as this will enable the hero to begin casting spells at full power immediately.
  • Consider using an elite tome to obtain this on a new character, as level 12 attributes are extremely useful before naturally available much later, and it can be kept up indefinitely without much Energy Storage.
