Biography

In 44 BBY, Miro was frustrated by a continual series of system failures in the Temple due to sabotage. He was in charge of the tech center that distributed new and replacement technological equipment to Jedi, and Obi-Wan Kenobi went to him for a comlink while combatting the sabotage. As the sabotage grew worse, Miro had to shut down two wings of the Temple. He and Qui-Gon Jinn reviewed the Temple diagrams and determined the only solution was to shut down all the Temple systems and restart them—a solution Miro hesitated to implement, as it would leave the Temple vulnerable.

Miro and Qui-Gon determined a number of tunnels that Bruck Chun and his partner were probably using to sabotage the Temple: search teams were assigned to the tunnels. Qui-Gon concluded Bruck's senior partner had to be Xanatos, and Miro agreed, remembering that Xanatos was the only Jedi to excel him in technological skills, and that Xanatos was specialized in infrastructure models.

As Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan continued their mission to thwart Xanatos, Miro attempted to fix the air circulation system, resulting in all the Temple's lights lowering to half power. At last, Miro did turn off all systems for twelve minutes. Xanatos rigged the Temple fusion furnace to explode upon Miro's restart of the air circulation system; he mistakenly warned Qui-Gon of his plans. Miro directed Qui-Gon to the reactor core of the furnace, where Qui-Gon retrieved the Healing Crystals of Fire (which Xanatos had stolen) before they could cause an explosion when the power was restarted.

Jedi Daroon would have worked alongside Kazdan Paratus as technician at the Temple during the Separatist Crisis. It can be assumed that he stayed at the Jedi Temple and was killed when Darth Vader and the 501st Legion attacked, executing Order 66.
