Circarpous V was the home planet of the Coway, the Mimbanites, and the extinct Thrella. The planet, locally known as Mimban, was in the Circarpous Major system.

Contents

History

During the Clone Wars, a unit of the 224th known as the Mud-Jumpers[3] and a unit of the 44th Special Operations Division known as the Devil Dogs served on the planet and fought in the Battle of Mimban.[4]

The Galactic Empire set up mining facilities on the planet. The planet was the location of the kaiburr crystal within the Temple of Pomojema. Lord Cronal used thaissen crystals from Mimban to make the Force Detectors. The Empire also established five mining towns on the planet. Mimban was the site of the first battle between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.

During the Yuuzhan Vong War, it was rumored that the Yuuzhan Vong fire breathers obtained some swamp gas from Mimban for the invasion of Gyndine.

The dangerous wandrella was a representative creature native to this planet.

The planet Mimban was inhabited by Coway, Greenies, and, Wandrella.

Secret Beginning

When the planet Mimban was developing sentinet aliens, it was the cause of mutations. Humans sent by the Secret Empire, to make the aliens terrifying, and many people would go to the Secret Empire. It also had a Mining towns, where succes fully mutated aliens were forced to take minerals, and deliver them to Imperial Ships.

Then one alien called 55-U realized that the mining technology given to them could allow a riot. While a special squad went to deactivate the Dark Troopers in the war room, a small army would distract the main army. The plan failed. Some escaped, but that battle made the Dark Empire enforce more brutality.
