Might is a White Magic spell in Final Fantasy IX. It increases Attack power of one ally for the remainder of the battle and can be used several times for a cumulative effect. Only Eiko can cast it, although the enemies Lamia and Iron Giant are capable of casting it as well. There is a similar Black Magic spell called Temper that has the same effect as well as the Bravery spell from Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy XII.
Might is similar in regards to its formula as Vivi's Focus ability, in that once Strength reaches 99 it will not increases any further. The formula for Might is as follows.
The effect of Might lasts for the entire battle, even if the character is KO'ed then revived.
