Metro Prystai (born November 7, 1927 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan) is a retired Canadian forward. He played junior hockey for the Moose Jaw Canucks from 1943-47 during which time the team made it to the 1944-45 Memorial Cup Final and the 1946-47 Memorial Cup Final.

Prystai began his National Hockey League career with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1947. He also played for the Detroit Red Wings, starting in 1950-51 until the middle of the 1954-55 season. Prystai won the Stanley Cup with Detroit in 1951-52 and 1953-54.

He split his time between the Black Hawks and Red Wings until he retired in 1959.

Prystai played in 674 NHL games and scored 151 goals and 179 assists. In 43 playoff games he scored 12 goals and 14 assists.
