Meteor Strike is an ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is usually a powerful technique for Monks and involves them picking up enemies and slamming them to the ground, although later games in the series changed this to make it a Fire-elemental magic attack.

Meteor Strike is a Blitz that Sabin can use. If used on a single enemy its Battle power is 180, making it potentially the strongest Blitz technique. It was originally translated as Suplex. Some enemies are unaffected by Meteor Strike.
Meteodrive and Meteor Strike are two of Tifa's Limit Breaks, her fourth and sixth to be exact. The moves do 1.625 and 1.875 damage in comparison to a normal attack, and this damage can be doubled if Tifa's slot reels are stopped correctly.
Zell's Limit Break Duel can use Meteor Strike. Meteor Strike does more damage the more HP the target has, making it effective against powerful enemies. Zell can also use Meteor Barret, but it functions differently and has a different animation.
Ifrit can use Meteor Strike to attack, and it pierces Protect. The boss Dark Ifrit can also use Meteor Strike.
Meteor Strike is a Blood pact requires the use of three Merit points once a player has reached level 75. Meteor Strike deals Fire-elemental damage to an enemy. Damage varies with Avatar TP. Meteor Strike, along with most other Merit Blood pacts, have a noticeably longer range then most other Blood pacts, meaning these Blood pacts are less likely to interrupt due to distance from a target.
