MP Attack is a recurring ability that is found mostly on pieces of equipment throughout the series. It involves using MP to increase the user's physical damage output when attacking physically.

Found exclusively on the Rune Edge, Rune Chime, and Rune Axe weapons. The Rune Edge can be found in Istory Falls, or stolen from Stingrays. Rune Axe is one of the 12 sealed weapons. The Rune Chime must be won from Cycloskulls in the Ruins section of the Interdimensional Rift.
Used in the weapons Ogre Nix and Punisher, and is used to perform a Critical attack with each hit. Ogre Nix can only be used by Terra, Locke, Edgar, and Celes, and can only be morphed or won from the Colosseum. Punisher can only be used by Strago, Relm, and Gogo, and can either be won from the Colossuem by betting a Gravity Rod, or found in the Ancient Castle.
MP Attack becomes an ability that can be learned by Zidane, Steiner, Freya, and Amarant. It is learned from Red Hat, Cross Helm, Battle Boots, and Power Belt.
