GTA

From Grand Theft Wiki

You may be looking for Luke from GTA Chinatown Wars.

Luke is the host of Fresh 105 in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and calls himself a renegade. He tries to get others in the city to rebel against the establishment and particularly dislikes the Vice City Police Department, who had at one point arrested him. He also complains about their lack of control, stating the rise in various crimes (for example carjacking). He also frequently calls for people to walk around the Vice Beach area naked.

Luke, who broadcasts shows from the Malibu Club in Vice Point, has more freedom than other radio disc jockeys as Fresh 105 has no sponsor. He receives offers for the station by Oliver Biscuit, which he declines on air. He later accepts the offer, which explains the stations disappearance by 1986. He is also the most obscene radio host in the Grand Theft Auto series and is, despite complaints from listeners, not afraid to use vulgar language. Luke is voiced by Luther Campbell.

Luke was a member of the Others. Sawyer mentioned that Luke seems to have some sort of martial arts training when he explains to Kate that he kissed her to find out how they fight.

On the Island

Luke at the Barracks ("One of Us")

Before Hydra Island, Luke lived at the Barracks. One morning Luke said good morning to Juliet as she raced to confront Ben about his tumor. ("One of Us")

Days 69-90 (Season 3)

A few months later Luke worked on Hydra Island. Luke was seen assisting Danny at the quarry, where he appeared to be in charge of guarding Kate and Sawyer. He was next seen engaging in conversation, almost flirting with Juliet, when Sawyer suddenly kissed Kate. Luke and Danny rushed out to separate the two, but he was elbowed in the face by Sawyer, who knocked him down. ("The Glass Ballerina")

He was playing chess with Ryan Pryce in the Others' camp when Ben came back from taking Locke to see Jacob. ("Greatest Hits")

Luke was one of Pryce's "ten best men" who took part in the raid on the castaways' camp. After Luke witnessed five of his fellow Others die, he was almost blown up by Jin. Luke fired his machine gun at Jin, but Jin evaded the bullets and shot Luke through the chest. ("Through the Looking Glass")

Trivia

  • Is credited as "other dude" in "One of Us."
  • Sawyer referred to him as "the shaggy-haired kid", and believed that he had some martial arts training.
  • Luke was killed in the beach raid by Jin along with Matthew. Matthew and Luke are names of men traditionally credited with writing two eponymously named books of the New Testament of The Bible.
